Non-Smokers Only Please
Our non-smoking policy surrounding all of Chalet Nicholas (not just in the rooms) is very serious to our guests and us. If anyone in your party smokes, we kindly ask that you seek other accommodations. Thank you for your courtesy to others. Only the Volcano smokes here.
Child Policy
Please note that we have a child policy of no children under the age of 10. Thank you.
Pet Policy
Because Chalet Nicholas has their own family of pets on-site, we do not allow guests to bring pets with them. Thank you.
Our Rooms
There are three rooms available at Chalet Nicholas. Our cozy chalet allows for as much personal attention as you’d like. We offer travel assistance, guided hikes, and plentiful, tasty breakfasts (vegetarian and gluten-free available upon request) included at no additional cost.
Volcano Room: As you might suspect, this room has a window facing Arenal Volcano. It has a queen-sized bed and private tiled bathroom inside the room.
Lake View Room: This room has a window facing Lake Arenal and a window facing Arenal Volcano. It has a double bed and single bed. It also has a private tiled bathroom just outside the room.
Double Loft Room: The loft has two sleeping areas – one with a queen-sized bed, half bathroom and a window facing the volcano. The other room has two single beds and a large patio accessed through its french doors where Lake Arenal can be viewed. A full, tiled bathroom is at the bottom of the spiral staircase for loft residents only.
